The Elopement Package is the perfect choice for couples who do not want the expense or attention that comes with a traditional wedding day. This package includes the following:


  • A one hour private consultation in person or by Zoom
  • Legally ordained officiant licensed by the Sate of Ohio
  • Officiant's travel to the ceremony's venue
  • Non-customized ceremony
  • Signing and mailing of your marriage license
  • Details and instructions for what follows the wedding day

If you are a resident of Ohio, you must apply for a marriage license in the county in which you reside. If you are from two different counties, either one will work. Out of state newlyweds must apply in the county in which they will be married. Confirm the correct county with your venue.


No blood test or waiting period is necessary to obtain a marriage license in Ohio. The current fee to apply for a marriage license is approximately $50.00
